Michelle Sue Jann Lee to receive JSPS Ikushi Prize

IFReC Assistant Professor Michelle Sue Jann Lee (Laboratory of Malaria Immunology) was awarded the 8th (FY2017) JSPS Ikushi Prize.
This Prize is launched by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). This year, the 18 prize winners including Dr. Lee, who is an only overseas researcher were unequivocally recognized as they have achieved excellent results in each research area. The awarded topic of Dr. Lee was "Chronic bone loss promoted by Plasmodium products".
The award ceremony of the Prize was held on March 6 at the headquarters office of Japan Academy (Gakushi-in) in the presence of their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino.
