Congratulatory Address from Dr. Takehiko Sasazuki (Program Officer of WPI Program) It is my great pleasure to say a few words to celebrate the completion of a new building for IFReC. I would like to congratulate Professor Akira, Director of IFReC and all members of IFReC for having been granted this wonderful building to pursue the research to achieve the final goal of IFReC. The final goal of IFReC is, needless to say, to establish the best research center for immunology, imaging sciences and bioinformatics in the world, which should be fully internationalized and which should be highly interdisciplinary. In this context, I also would like to congratulate Professor Washida, President of Osaka University, for your big effort and great success in conducting the IFReC to be one of the most successful WPI centers. I sincerely hope that the excellent inhabitants of this new building will make Osaka University to be the best recognized medical science center in the world. Congratulations again and thank you.
