The two principal investigators of IFReC, Shimon Sakaguchi (Experimental Immunology), and Nobuhiko Kamada (Microbiology & Immunology/University of Michigan) were elected as "2024 Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers". The "Highly Cited Researchers" have demonstrated significant and broad influence reflected in their publication of multiple highly cited papers over the last decade.
