The Immunology Frontier Research Center (IFReC) at the University of Osaka is pleased to announce the 16th International Symposium of IFReC.
The symposium will bring together leading immunologists from Japan, including researchers from IFReC, and around the world to present their latest research findings and engage in stimulating scientific discussions.
Intended for a broad audience of researchers in immunology and related fields, the symposium welcomes graduate students, early-career scientists, and established investigators.
Through the exchange of scientific knowledge and ideas, it aims to foster international collaboration and further advance immunological research in Japan and beyond.
The 2027 symposium will be a particularly special occasion. It commemorates the 20th anniversary of IFReC, which was established in 2007 as one of the inaugural centers selected under the World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI). It also celebrates the 88th birthday of Professor Tadamitsu Kishimoto, who has made outstanding contributions to the advancement of immunology at the University of Osaka and throughout Japan.
To celebrate these significant milestones, we are honored to welcome some of the world's most distinguished immunologists. The symposium will provide a unique opportunity to reflect on the remarkable progress of immunology over the past decades and explore new directions and future challenges in the field.
