Director Akira gave a lecture to "Super Science High Schools" students.
"Super Science High Schools (SSHs)" designated by MEXT provide enriched curricula environments to enhance students´ creativity and originality.

Prof. Shizuo Akira, Director of IFReC gave a lecture at "The Congress of Super Science High Schools" in Kobe on August 11. He was chosen as "Japan´s most renowned Scientists" with Prof. Hideo Hosono (2009) and Prof. Toshihide Masukawa (2010).
The title for the lecture is "The mystery of immunity; a newly opened door to immunology", which explains his brilliant achievements in an easy-to-understand manner for students.
