Ms. Emi ITO (Graduate student of the School of Medicine, Osaka University/Molecular Immunology, IFReC) was awarded the 14th (FY2023) Ikushi Prize by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Her research theme was "Deciphering the role of host-derived metabolites in the development of innate-type T cells".

Awardees of the Ikushi Prize are selected by their achievements in graduate school. In FY2023, the 18 students who were outstanding in all research fields were awarded. Ms. ITO was an only one awardee from Osaka University.
