Shizuo Akira, Director of WPI-IFReC visited Institute for Systems Biology, Seattle, WA, USA　on May 5 - 6 and concluded Academic Cooperation Agreement. This Agreement aims at promoting cooperation in the fields of academic research between WPI-IFReC and Institute for Systems Biology. Under the Agreement, the Parties have reached to start mutual interaction through holding opportunities for joint research, lectures and symposia, etc. and also to exchange information and materials.

Institute for Systems Biology is an institute that plays pioneering role in the field of systems biology in the world. It is expected that cooperation with the institute greatly contributes to further development of imaging of our center.
