MEXT prizes　the　researchers　who　gained　remarkable　achievements　for the　field　of　Science　and　Technology,　in order to encourage people who engage in , and to level up the standard of Japanese Science and Technology.MEXT announced this year's winners on April 5th.

The ceremony will be held on April 13th, 2010.

Prize for Science and Technology
Professor Taro Kinoshita and Associate Professor Yusuke Maeda
"Glycolipid modification of proteins: genes required and biomedical significance."

Young Scientist's Prize
Associate Professor Masaru Ishii
"In vivo live imaging of bone tissues and bone marrow revealing a novel mode of function of osteoclasts and other bone cells"
