Professor Tadamitsu Kishimoto has been awarded the 2010 Clinical Immunology Society President's Award. Professor Kishimoto presened the President's Award lecture on Friday, May 21st at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia, PA.

An internationally recognized expert in the field of immunology, specifically in cytokine signaling, Professor Kishimoto has made outstanding contribution to therapies of autoimmune diseases such as Castleman's disease, rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis through his studies on IL-6.
