We had a seminar that aims to promote and explain how to apply for the "Grant-in-aid for Scientific Research" (KAKENHI), for overseas researchers. Advice on how to write a successful application was given followed by Q and A sessions.

The KAKENHI grant is advantageous for scientists working in Japan, not only to secure research funding but also to receive advantageous evaluations during their research careers.
