Kazuhiro Suzuki to receive Astellas Awards for the Best Biomedical Research and for the Outstanding Presentation

IFReC Associate Professor Kazuhiro Suzuki (Immune Response Dynamics) was given Astellas Awards for the Best Biomedical Research and for the Outstanding Presentation by the Astellas Foundation for Research on Metabolic Disorders.
The Award for the Best Biomedical Research is given to the researcher considered to have produced particularly excellent results from the research supported by the foundation. The Award for the Outstanding Presentation is selected by a mutual vote among the researchers who have presented their results at the research report meeting.
Suzuki was awarded for his study on the diurnal control of adaptive immune responses by adrenergic nerves. Head of the Secretariat, Mr. Hiroshi Kayakiri visited IFReC on November 10 to confer Suzuki with the awards.
