The Osaka Science Prize has been awarded to the scientists who have made significant contributions to the development of science and new technologies in diverse research fields.

Prof. Masaru Ishii (Immunology and Cell Biology, IFReC/Graduate School of Medicine/Graduate School of Frontier Bio Sciences, Osaka University) was awarded the 38th Osaka Science Prize by his excellent work "Development of bioimaging technologies and the elucidation of immune cell dynamics".
