The Takeda Prize for Medical Science is given to researchers who have made outstanding achievements and excellent contributions to medicine. Prof. Kiyoshi Takeda (Mucosal Immunology, IFReC/Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka Universiyu) was awarded "the Takeda Prize 2022". His research theme for the award is "Elucidation of the molecular basis for intestinal homeostasis".
