Prof Hisashi Arase (Immunochemistry, IFReC/RIMD/CiDER, Osaka University) was awarded the Toyoichi Ohtawara Award 2022 by his considerable achievements in "the elucidation of pathogenesis of infectious diseases targeting host-pathogen interactions".
