Next Gen Immunology in Health and Disease /February 7-8, 2019 @Grand Cube Osaka, Osaka, Japan

Message

On behalf of the Osaka University Immunology Frontier Research Center (IFReC) Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Next Gen Immunology in Health and Disease. The symposium invites world-leading researchers, at the frontline of immunology research in Japan and Europe, who have achieved remarkable progress in immunology research. In particular, we are very honored to host world prominent researchers, Prof. Klaus Rajewsky and Prof. Tadamitsu Kishimoto, as keynote lecturers.

The subjects to be discussed in the symposium cover broad fields from fundamental to clinical research in immunology. This symposium will be an excellent opportunity to introduce the latest outcomes at the world’s pinnacle of research to peers in Japan. In recent years, there is greater recognition of the importance of fundamental research to translational one. This international symposium thus welcomes the participation of clinical and corporate researchers, and proposes to share the current progress of immunology and to create connections with academic researchers.

We also expect this international symposium to stimulate young scientists to acquire a broad perspective of immunology research in the world, and to enhance consciousness to lead immunology in the next generation.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all participants and hope that this symposium will be a significant opportunity for you to share ideas and expertise for further development of immunology both in fundamental and clinical research.

Shizo Akira Tomohiro Kurosaki
