The Japanese Society for Immunology (JSI) announced that the two scientists of IFReC were awarded by JSI.
Prof. Sho Yamasaki (Molecular Immunology, IFReC, RIMD) won the JSI Award 2018 by his outstanding achievements in the studies of "mechanisms of pathogen recognition by immune receptors".
Dr. Sujin Kang (Immune Regulation, IFReC) won the JSI Young Investigator Award 2018. She was recognized for her achievements in immune semaphorins, which are linking immunity and lipid metabolism.
