Kick-off symposium of WPI-IFReC - Immunology and Imaging -

Kick-off symposium of WPI-IFReC was held at Osaka International Convention Center, Osaka, Japan on March 27 and 28, 2008. At the symposium, 21 researchers from Japan and abroad were invited as speakers.

Opening ceremony
Greeting

Presentations:
Total 21 researchers including 14 principal investigators of WPI-IFReC gave presentations. There were active interactions with attendances through questions and answers at the end of each session.

Concluding remarks:

We had approx. 380 attendances on 27th and approx. 350 attendances on 28th.



Kick-off Reception of WPI-IFReC was held after the first day of the symposium at Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka.

Sake Barrel Ceremony “Kagami-biraki”
Total 18 distinguished guests and director of WPI-IFReC, etc. stood on the platform and then opened the new barrel of Sake together to celebrate the establishment of WPI-IFReC.
