This symposium was co-hosted by JST Strategic Japanese-Swedish Cooperative Program on "Multidisciplinary BIO" , and IFReC.

The symposium was organized by IFReC's imaging group and the latest imaging technologies (2-photon microscopy, FCS, MRI, quantum dots etc.) in cell biology and their applications to immunological studies were discussed.
