The conference is biyearly held with the theme "Conquering Diseases by Immune Regulation" by Japanese and German immunologists.

In 2010, the conference was held in Cuxhaven, Germany on September 26-29.

As the members of Japanese delegation, Profs Akira, Sakaguchi, Kumanogoh, and Takeda participated in the meeting and presented their works. Dr. Fritz Melchers, a guest professor of IFReC also joined the meeting as one of the German delegation.
