Seminar of "Grant-in-aid for Scientific Research" for Overseas Researchers was held.

REPORT

IFReC and RIMD organized a seminar (in English) that aims to promote and explain how to apply for the "Grant-in-aid for Scientific Research" (KAKENHI), for overseas researchers. There were about 50 participants. Advise on how to write a successful application was given by Prof. Hatazawa and Prof. Kodama followed by Q and A sessions.

The KAKENHI grant is advantageous for scientists working in Japan, not only to secure research funding but also to receive advantageous evaluations during their research careers.
